Buctober!

It took 20 years for the Pittsburgh Pirates to finally achieve a winning season and a birth in the playoffs.  This is a new experience for my generation, having never been able to feel the excitement of playoff baseball in Pittsburgh!  Their recent success has brought the attention to many people who lost interst over the previous 20 years of losing baseball.  Hopefully this will spark interest in baseball again in the city of Pittsburgh and bring many new fans!

Introduction

My name is Jordon Schurer and i'm a junior here at Slippery Rock University!  I transfered from Butler County Community College and that's where i'm from.  Sports takes up a big part of my life and that's why im pursuing a career in this area.  Im open minded about a certain career i want to pursue in the Sports Management field.  There's a lot of different opportunities available for this major, that's one of the reasons im attracted to it.  I look forward to meeting a lot of new people hear on campus that have the same interests as me, and making new friends!
